He is a seasoned cybersecurity and information security expert with over 25 years of experience in engineering, architecture, and security that has provided business-driven design and implementation, migration planning, testing and execution at the highest levels to over 800 projects in seven countries throughout Europe, North America, and Australasia. Prior to moving to Wellington and joining Planit in 2015, he held senior security roles in consulting, IT, and energy sectors

David McGregor, Associate Practice Director - Automation Engineering, Planit

David McGregor is Associate Practice Director for Automation Engineering at Planit. With more than 16 years of DevOps and software engineering experience, he is an experienced leader that is responsible for building our global engineering capability. He also champions and role-models strong values and people initiatives for our next generation of engineers, actively building team culture and facilitating team member performance, learning, career development, safety, and well-being.

 

Prior to joining Planit in 2019, he was a practice lead at Cognizant, a Lead Engineer at Odecee, and before that Principal QA Specialist at SEEK. He has also held senior IT roles at financial organisations such as Goldman Sachs, Merrill Lynch, and Macquarie Bank.

Dr Tafline Ramos, Practice Director, Quality Engineering and Assurance, Planit

Tafline is responsible for driving best quality practices across Planit, including its thousands of consultants and hundreds of clients worldwide. Tafline holds a PhD in software testing and is a regular feature in software engineering, technology, and quality engineering conferences. She has over 20 years of experience in the ICT industry and is an international standards leader, developing software engineering standards with ISO and IEEE.

Phil Johnson, Practice Director, Performance Engineering, Planit

An expert in application performance and continuous testing, Phil leads the performance engineering practice at Planit to help our clients engineer speed with quality into their systems. With over 20 years experience in scaling applications, Phil has worked in both Planit UK and ANZ since 2015 and is now based in Perth. Prior to joining Planit, he headed up performance engineering/testing at the Royal Mail Group and the NHS at CSC (DXC) UK.

Kedar Kulkarni, Regional Practice Director, Performance Engineering, Planit

Kedar is a dedicated professional with more than 17 years' experience in performance engineering, observability and technical consulting roles. He is passionate about embedding performance and other non-functional aspects into development life cycles. Currently working as a Regional Practice Director for Performance Engineering at Planit, he manages the local practice in Victoria and is responsible for delivery across multiple customer engagements, technical pre-sales, developing customised solutions or frameworks and people management. Previously he worked at Elastic as a Consultant, helping customers with their search and observability requirements and achieving the full potential of their Elastic stack and solutions. He has also worked for large consulting organisations such as IBM and Capgemini managing performance testing of mission critical applications.

Joel is a seasoned technology leader with 24 years of industry experience. In his role, he leads the global team of practice leads, drives innovation initiatives, and oversees product development.
