On April 21 1999, Chris Carter took ownership of the business, officially rebranding the name to Planit Software Testing (Planit Test Management Solutions Pty Ltd).
Planit launched the ISEB certification in software testing, being the first company to do so in the Asia Pacific region. (Later rebranded as the ISTQB Foundation in 2005)
