When purchasing an exam voucher, you can choose the 2TRY option. For the 2TRY voucher you will pay an extra 25% with your initial order. If you don’t pass your exam on the first attempt, you can retake it once at no additional cost.

This offer is only available on selected products. Please note that you must request your free retake within 90 days of your initial exam. One of the advantages we’ve observed is that candidates tend to feel more relaxed during their exams.

To modify your ISTQB certificate, please contact iSQI directly at [email protected]. They are responsible for issuing and updating certificates. Unfortunately, we cannot make changes to certificates.

Each exam includes questions designed to assess a candidate’s knowledge and understanding of the topics outlined in the learning objectives for the respective ISTQB® syllabus. Each learning objective is associated with a K Level, indicating the depth at which you will be examined on that objective.

The specific learning objective levels are listed at the beginning of each chapter of the syllabus and are classified as follows:

  • K1: Remember
  • K2: Understand
  • K3: Apply

For example:

Level 1: Remember (K1) – The candidate will recall, recognize, and remember a term or concept. Examples:

  • “Identify typical test objectives.”
  • “Recall the concepts of the test pyramid.”
  • “Recognize how a tester adds value to iteration and release planning.”

Level 2: Understand (K2) – The candidate can select reasons or explanations for statements related to the topic and can summarize, compare, classify, and provide examples for the testing concept. Examples:

  • “Classify the different options for writing acceptance criteria.”
  • “Compare the different roles in testing” (identify similarities, differences, or both).
  • “Distinguish between project risks and product risks” (differentiate concepts).
  • “Exemplify the purpose and content of a test plan.”
  • “Explain the impact of context on the test process.”
  • “Summarize the activities of the review process.”

By understanding the K levels, you can gauge the depth of study required for each objective, which aids in effective revision.

Your exam voucher is valid for one calendar year from date of purchase. If you do not use it with that period, you will need to purchase a new voucher as the expire dates cannot be extended. So please plan your study accordingly to allow plenty of time to take the exam successfully before the expiry date.
