Attila Csobonyei, Consultant, Technical Testing, Planit

From an early age, Attila Csobonyei was always interested in figuring out how things work, be it mechanical or anything to do with computers. “Taking things apart, and generally breaking things, was a lot of fun and this curiosity stayed with me,” he says.

Attila’s childhood desire to understand devices and technology led him to explore a career in IT. He tried out a number of different IT roles, starting as a developer before moving to more managerial and technical delivery roles.

“Technology is evolving at such a rapid rate that keeping up with the latest developments is a constant source of new and interesting challenges,” Attila says. “It also provides lots of opportunities to learn and better myself.”

Inspired to pursue a new challenge in the IT space, Attila found his opportunity during a chance meeting with Darren Dalla Riva, Director of Testing Services, and Account Director, Technical Testing, Marco Denni, from the Planit office in Melbourne. Impressed with the company and what it was offering, Attila joined the Melbourne team where he is now a Consultant, Technical Testing.

But it isn’t just the rewarding work that makes Planit a great workplace. The work-life balance provided by Planit was also a huge draw, along with the various social activities organised by the Melbourne office.

“The friendly sporting competitions are always great fun,” he says. “There is nothing better than being target practice for colleagues in an indoor soccer game!”
