“There is always an opportunity to learn and grow at Planit. Whenever I come up with a new idea or process, the support and encouragement from the people around me has been really good.”
Venkata SivaKumar Amadasala, Engineer, Planit
Venkata SivaKumar Amadasala has been interested in technology for as long as he can remember. It’s what sparked his career path into IT and testing.
“Technology is the one of the most important areas in today’s world, so if we’re able to excel in it, there is a potential to do amazing things,” he says. “As my curiosity in learning about new technology grew, I started exploring for career opportunities where I would be immersed in these new technologies.”
After graduating from university, Venkata looked for an opportunity to work in the software industry. He saw openings to work in the testing domain and found work as a tester at TenXLabs, a testing company located in Hyderabad.
While at his second year TenXLabs, the company was acquired by Planit and become the company’s Hyderbad office. The change in ownership enabled Venkata to move up to Test Analyst.
Venkata remembers the transition to Planit being a smooth one. “Planit made me feel like I was a valued member of the company from day one,” he says. “The support from management and team mates was very good.”
Now an Engineer at Planit, Venkata has been impressed with the company culture where people are encouraged to express their ideas and opinions, and explore new technologies. This environment of learning and personal improvement introduced him to new methodologies like Agile.
“There is always an opportunity to learn and grow at Planit,” Venkata. “Whenever I come up with a new idea or process, the support and encouragement from the people around me has been really good.”
The mid and end of year parties at the Hyderabad office are memorable to all who attend, but last year’s EOFY party was a personal highlight for Venkata. “Not only was it the biggest and most enjoyable party to date, my work over the year was also recognised with a Supernova award!” he says.
