Planit Test Management Solutions (Planit), Australia’s leading specialist in software quality assurance and testing solutions today announced two new divisional appointments as a result of recent growth and decisions to restructure business operations based on divisional management by appointing Graham Davis as Director of Testing Services and Mark Otter as Director of Training.

Chris Carter, Planit’s Managing Director, commented that “with Planit continuing to expand and with the demand for Testing services growing at such a rapid rate we have been looking at ways of managing the business more efficiently and effectively.” He continued “as a result we have decided to move away from a geographical based management structure and adopt a, more suitable, divisional management structure.

Graham Davis – Director of Testing Services

Graham spent four (4) years with Ernst & Young Graham and following that joined SQA as a Test Consultant in 1995, starting his test career with the Bank of England. Subsequent assignments include CrestCo, EXCO, Ministry of Defence and Barclays Bank before relocating to Australia in April 1998.

Instrumental in growing Planit from it’s incorporation Graham has delivered quality testing solutions for many of Planit’s key clients including; BT Financial Group, Corporate Express, MLC, Commonwealth Bank, Department of Defence, Tattersall’s and Telstra.

Hugely experienced in the creation of Test Strategies, Master Test Plans and the establishment of testing teams Graham now assumes national responsibility for the Testing Services Division, managing clients’ requirements & all testing staff activities including personal career development.

Mark Otter – Director of Training

Since 1998 Mark has run Planit’s Melbourne regional office with responsibilities across all divisions. As a trainer Mark has either written or co-written many of Planit’s courses including Professional Testing Processes, E-Business Testing, Developers Test Workshop and the internationally recognized tester certification course ISEB Foundation Certificate in Software Testing.

Mark’s appointment as Director of Training reflects the increasing demand for Planit training courses and staff career development programs.

Mark now assumes all responsibility for all aspects of the Planit training division including course development, program scheduling & management and relationship management with Planit’s training partners in New Zealand, Asia and the UK.
